severedmind's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kottonmouth King Phene... Saturday Night Was Fucking SICK! This past weekend has definetly been the best weekend since I moved to this rut hole. Hell Yes I seen The KottonMouth Kings! Well as You all know I went to the Kottonmouth Kings show saturday in vegas. We left my house around 3:30 since vegas is behind an hour we knew we would get there on time. Well the whole way there it was nothing but listen to kmk and smoke till you cant smoke no more. Well things were going ok till we hit the hoover dam that shit was hella packed in traffic I was afraid we werent gonna make it on time. Well after sittin in traffic for what it felt like forever we finally got out of that bitch and continued our way on to the Huntridge. We arrived at the Huntridge at 6 copped a spot in the line and we were on our way. The doors didnt open till 7 so ashley,andy,jacob and I kept taking turns keeping the spot in line to go back to the car and smoke we finally just gave up and smoked in the damn line. When we got there I thought there was going to be hella amounts of people there but no one had really started to show up yet but around 6:40ish the line was all the way across the street. Well after smoking more than I had smoked in a long ass time they finally opened the doors after the opened the doors they made the girls get in one line and the guys in another I was like motherfucker but it was all good cause the guys had to get searched and we didnt. Well when we got in the huntridge me and ashley ran to the stage and got us a good ass spot right in the front well second row it was close enough considering we had this short ass kid in front of us. Later on andy and jacob caught up with us. The only downside was the fact that it took hella long for the first act to go onstage but it really didnt bother me none I was too baked to realize. But then again it might have been that long it might have just been me thinking it was. By the time Mower came on the place was hazed out. Mower was the first act they were badass. They are one hard ass punk band and know how to get the crowd going. Up next was Big B he was cool as hell his set wasnt all that long. Then it was time for judge D he was bomb ass Richter and taxman came out and did some shit with him the crowd was definetly feeling it then. I smoked weed with so many different people it was a long ass stoner smoke fest. I met this really cool ass chick her name was bekah definetly a person you wanna know when you come to shows she was down to earth and ready to smoke. The crowd was pretty wild but then as soon as KMK came around that shit got hype as hell. People werent lying when they said that as soon as kmk came on you wouldnt be able to breathe cause the shit would be so packed. The whole crowd was a fucking Pit but I didnt put up with no bullshit I wasnt about to loose my spot. There was a bunch of fights, there was an all girl pit which ended up turning out to be a big ass fight between these two chicks That ended up being right next to me there was nothing you could do to avoid shit it was all around you. Things started to get wild I got punched in the face Knocked in the head and a whole bunch of other shit. Im sore as hell. One thing I liked a lot about this show is that kmk headlined so their set was about 2 1/2 hours long. They played every song off of rollin stoned and a bunch of older tight shit like: Pimp Twist Kings Blend Lottery Bump Peace Not Greed and a lot of other shit,They also did smoke two joints by sublime and stand up for your rights by bob marley. when they played pimp twist they told all the ladies to come up and get on stage and everyone danced and had a killa time. D-loc is way fine You better believe I got some pictures of him. I really enjoyed this show and pakelika always amazes me with his dancing skills I love that guy to death I got his new cd that shit is tight. I got me a kmk shirt too I got daddy x and taxman to sign it and then daddy x ended up keeping my favorite permanent marker but its cool. I got to talk to taxman for a while thats one kik ass guy. I didnt get to get dlocs or any of the other guys cause when the show was over they disapeared. But I did get lots of pictures and shit so its all worth it. I also got the lead singer of mower to autograph me. The show ended up lasting from 7 till 1 in the morning but I can say it was a damn good one and I am looking foward to the next show. I ended up having to drive from vegas cause ashley was way too tired to drive. But that was only after we made a pit stop at the gas station got some grub and I got my arm stuck in the window haha some funny shit just picture it Your walking by and you see this chick with her arm stuck in the window cause the damn door was locked and she thought she would be smart and try to unlock it. I finally realize why Im called shortbus. Some friends and I are thinking about driving to cali to catch another show Im sure it will be worth it. Im in the process of looking for a job right now and on my first paycheck Im gettin inked. Im going to the tatoo place that KMK goes to in vegas so this should be some hella tight shit.
