severedmind's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OBC6 (Our Big Concert 6) with the fucking DEFTONES!!!!! Ahhhhh...This weekend has been fucking awesome I havent updated in a while so I decided this would be the perfect time to do it well it all started friday my mom picked me up from school and we went to the DMV to get me a ID so I would have it when I went back home. Well I had seen ashley there and we were talking and I decided to spend the weekend with her well that day we decided we wanted to go to OBC6 (Our big concert 6) It was hosted by 107.5 extreme radio. It was also the Summer sanitarium tour. Everyone there was smokin pot my friend steve was hittin a joint while the cop walked by and he didnt do shit I had it offered to me a bunch of times. Well this was the list of bands that played... Stunned,Blindside,Lounge against the machine,Trapt,Taproot,The used,Mudvayne,Social Distortion,The Dj from Incubus, And the FUcking DEFTONES!! Hell fucking yes They fucking rocked the hell out of that stadium. Well we left friday night at 1:00 in the morning and we got in vegas at around 3 something well we didnt find a hotel till 8:30 when we finally did ashley and steve and jason went to sleep I decided I would stay up take a shower and get ready and make sure they were all up so we could go to the concert on time well the concert started at 2 well they all got up at like 11:30 12:00 and we left the hotel at 12:30 we were like only 5 min away from the stadium. When we got there we got our tickets which were 37 dollars a piece and then we had to wait in a line for about 20 25 minutes to get in when we finally got in there wasnt hardly anyone on the lawn part they were like all in the stand and shit. Well I got my ass up there and I got right in front of the stage and i stayed there cause I wasnt losing my spot I wanted to be as close as possible. By the time the first band played there was a whole lot of people up there the first band was stunned they fucking rocked the lead singer climbed the stage all the way to the top and then decided to hang there it was fucking awesome. This was my first big concert and it fucking rocked I cant get over it. The only thing that was fucking crazy is that water was like 3 dollars a bottle well all the bands were great and they all sounded great! Me and my friend ashley were pinned right next to the pit but it didnt bother me none I just pushed back but then she decided she wanted to move over a little bit because people were crowd surfing and she didnt want no one to fall on her right when we did that the singer from trapt was like "Mother fucker you better catch me cause I am fucking jumping" and he took and his wires and shit off and jumped in to the crowd I was like kik ass it was fucking tight. Deftones was the last band to play and they were fucking awesome chino had to stop the show because some girl I guess had fell on the ground chino was like "I want you guys to have fun but I dont want no one hurt and he was like motherfuckers help her up, help her up,someone help her up", finally someone helped her up after he had to repeat himself what felt like a thousand times. Then he was like "Are you ok, You straight?, do you need some water" and he told her he didnt want to see her ass complainin if she was still in there 10 min later because she chose to stay in there. Then the crowd was throwing these glow stick thingys they were round and they threw them on stage and he was like "do you think Im a fucking clown?, You think Im fucking funny? it was awesome. Chino fucking looked so good and No hes not fat like he looks on tv he looks good as hell. I had a fucking kik ass time the first song they played was shove it and then they played some other song and then passenger and hexagram from their new album and they played minerva and a bunch of songs. I like the beginin of the hexagram song because chino was making all these weird noises and shit I enjoyed every moment of it and wouldnt trade it for anything. I was close to the stage when deftones played but not as close as I was when the concert first started which fuckin sucked but oh well I still wasnt far away I was still close. Chino was climbing up the speakers and shit and jumping off it was awesome. I got this kik ass deftones shirt its got the cover of their new album on it and on the back it says Summer sanitarium tour 2003 and has all the dates even the vegas one whohooh its great it cost 25.00 and my friend ashley got a trapt shirt which cost the same. when mudvayne played people were fucking throwing shit and someone threw something on the stage when they played and they were like "Motherfuckers we dont throw shit at you so dont throw shit at us" The lead singer came out with a fro wig and a button up shirt and some shorts it was crazy the whole lawn was a damn mosh pit there was no escaping. My friend ashley got the guys from the used to sign the ass of her shorts and then the guitar player smacked her ass Then she was waiting in the stands for taproot to finish playing and so she could go get autographs and then the lead singer of taproot shook her hand and hugged her damn I wish I could have been her Oh well I enjoyed the concert. Only 6 More days and I get to see my friends back home I cant wait to be back there and be with all my friends Ive missed them so much I got to get all my shit washed this week and pack everything and make sure I dont forget anything or I will be totally screwed. I have to leave my house at like 3 something in the morning to get to vegas at like 5 and then i get on the plane at like 6:21 and i then get in chicago at like 11:47 then I get back on the plane at like 1:56 and I finally arrive in north carolina at 4:50 pm and then I get to see my pdoodle and have the greatest time whoohoo I cant wait. I got to go to hottopic this weekend I went yesterday I got a finch shirt and I got a spike bracelet and a care bears charm bracelet. When I go back home hopefully I can go to gadzooks and get some pants and stuff my mom is supposed to give me money and she better cause Ill be damned if I am going to go to nc and not have any money that is bullshit. Well tomorrow the new Deftones Cd comes out I cant wait because I am going to get that shit Its supposed to be bad ass and anything by them is bad ass to me Ive read all the radio station reviews and magazine reviews and they all say its great they have done a hell of a job preventing that shit from leakin on kazaa and stuff so thats good Im not going to burn it im going to buy it fuck that. I got to talk to my friend kevin today i was tellin him all about the concert and stuff I had called him earlier that day and got his answering machine which he made sound like he was really talking to you damn ass but anywho we had a lovely conversation he got a job way to go keyvain As for me I still dont have one but oh well Im really fucking tired still I need some more sleep. Well Im going to end this journal thingy for now and I will update later but I want to leave on this not that OBC6 was fucking awesome and the DEFTONES FUCKING ROCKED THAT STADIUM TILL YOU COULDNT ROCK NO MORE!!!!
